I am passionate about the work I do and love being able to support my clients in making the changes they want in their lives and relationships.
I value treating my clients with empathy, respect, and understanding. My job is helping you to find hope for a better future and heal from a difficult past by creating healthy habits now.
I have been working with clients in the mental health field for over 18 years in various settings in the country and internationally, including residential treatment centers, community-based therapy, outpatient centers, and my private practice. As a licensed marriage and family therapist in multiple states, I have experience treating couples, families, individuals, and groups with many different issues and from various cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
I am currently licensed as a marriage and family therapist in the states of Florida and Utah. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Home and Family Living and received my Master’s degree in Family Therapy from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. I received graduate and post-graduate supervision from some of the founding therapists in the field of family therapy and have over 14 years of additional postgraduate continuing education and training.
I value creating real, authentic relationships with my clients while also maintaining my professional and ethical boundaries.
Some of my favorite things to do when I’m not working are spending time with family, friends, and pets, taking care of my garden, yoga & dance, and exploring new cities.
